Success Stories: Karen & Taylor
RETURN TO MAIN STORIES PAGE

Has it been a year already? Taylor and I can barely believe it. We've had such a great time as Big Sis and Little Sis. Taylor has taught me quite a lot about the latest trends in fashion, music, and even the Internet! She is one of the smartest girls I've ever met.

A lot of people have asked us, "What are you two up to?" That's because we are up to a lot! We've gone roller-skating in the park and even skated to Dairy Queen for dessert! We went bowling and Taylor drank a "suicide" --the almost killer mix of ALL the slurpee flavors together!! We went to the movies and ate way too much popcorn--but couldn't help ourselves--it was Harry Potter, after all!

We've made cookies, bread, cupcakes, and dinner. The hardest thing for both of us is trying to keep our fingers our of the icing or cookie dough! We don't want to brag, or anything, but all the stuff we've made has been absolutely delicious. Taylor has shown she is quite the artist as we have worked on paintings, bracelet making, and sun-catchers. We even made her Halloween costume! (She was Dorothy, from the Wizard of OZ.)

We also had a BLAST at my wedding this October. Taylor was my flower girl, and she was the best flower girl I've ever seen. She rode in the limousine with me and helped me during a very busy and very fun day.

The very best thing about being Taylor's Big Sister this year was finding out what a neat person she is. We always have a good time together and that's because Taylor is fun, smart, and really, really nice. I know I have one of the best Little Sisters in the whole world and I'm looking forward to anther year of fun and excitement.
