Big Brothers Big Sisters has been serving Lincoln County since 1995. It currently supports 42 matches in both Community and School-Based Programs. We currently have Site-Based relationships with the Carrizozo School District, Capitan School District, and the Mescalero Boys & Girls Club. We have hopes of expanding or School-Based programs further into the county by next school year.
Our Community-Based matches enjoy monthly events put on by BBBS staff that has incuded, a kite-flying workshop, building
  Being a friend to a child, for as little as 4 hours a month, has shown to make a difference in children's self-confidence, family relationships and also an improvement in grades.
